ReadySetServe — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReadySetServe iOS app and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You're responsible for activity that happens under your account, including content you post and the safety of the credentials used to sign you in. Sign in with Apple and Sign in with Google handle authentication; protect those accounts accordingly.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is illegal, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, or that exploits minors;
• Impersonate another person or organization or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Use the Service to coordinate fraud, scams, or other unlawful conduct;
• Upload content that infringes anyone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• Probe, scan, or attempt to circumvent our security, rate-limits, or moderation systems;
• Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages or spam.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant ReadySetServe a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute that content for the limited purpose of operating and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where retention is required for our safety records (see Section 6).

5. Image safety screening

All photo uploads are scanned for sensitive content before being stored. We use Google Cloud Vision's SafeSearch API for this; see our Privacy Policy for details. Uploads that fail this screen are rejected and not stored.

6. Reporting and moderation

Any signed-in user can flag a post, comment, opportunity, or user account from inside the app. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. Reports and the moderator actions taken in response are recorded in an audit log retained for safety records. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or take other action at our discretion when we believe these Terms have been violated.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if continuing your access would harm other users or the Service. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any specific opportunity posted by another user is accurate, safe, or carried out as described. You are responsible for evaluating opportunities and the people you meet through the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadySetServe and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state and federal courts located in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Your continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
